Our reception transformation for the Edinburgh Fringe Festival

BEFORE

The previous space felt too corporate, so our goal was to design a new environment that exudes warmth and welcome, with a vibrant cultural and festival ambiance.

AFTER

Our aim was to retain elements of the classic Assembly Rooms upstairs, ensuring the new space did not come across as tacky. We developed a colour scheme that harmonises with our client's famous festival red while establishing an independent identity, seamlessly continuing the aesthetic from the banners displayed outside.

Strategic lighting played a crucial role in achieving this effect, enhancing the overall atmosphere and ensuring a cohesive and inviting experience.
