Mini-festival takes centre stage in January

A packed Assembly Rooms with a massive crowd enjoying a live performance during the Scottish festival, Burns & Beyond

We’re delighted to welcome back Burns & Beyond in the New Year with a celebration of Luve, Hope and Kindness. The Scottish festival presents traditional music, contemporary art and culture from across the country and celebrates the life and legacy of Robert Burns in venues throughout Edinburgh.

This year the Assembly Rooms will host several evenings of spectacular music and performance. Callum Easter & The Roulettes are joined by a selection of special guests on 25 January. Then, genre-crossing composer and producer Anna Meredith will bring together the worlds of classical, electronic and pop on 27 January and on the 28th Mercury Prize nominee Nadine Shah returns to the capital with a show that promises to be incredibly special.

‘Edinburgh is very quickly becoming one of my favourite cities. I’ve always had a real soft spot for it. Careful, treat me too well and I may just end up moving there. I look forward to seeing you all at the show.’ Nadine Shah
