Crowd gather for festive season.

Get into the festive spirit with a selection of concerts and events here in Edinburgh’s New Town. We have a programme of surprises lined up, including: our annual Christmas Fair; candlelight performances featuring London’s west end artists performing Christmas hits under our glittering chandeliers and the UK’s leading Michael Bublé tribute show will surely have us all dancing in the aisles.

Four days of events are planned to celebrate the New Year – expect a ceilidh, kilts and all things Scotland! Kicking off the programme, we have Edinburgh’s Hogmanay Festival Club featuring comedians Fred MacAulay, Susie McCabe and Larry Dean. Night Afore Hoolie: Blue Rose Code will be here too with Ross Wilson and special guests. Bairns New Year Revels is an event for all the family complete with a live band, party tunes and dancing. Then New Year’s Revels, Edinburgh’s premier indoor Hogmanay party, will see revellers birlin’ through the bells courtesy of the finest ceilidh bands and live DJs. Festival favourites Massaoke will provide a sing-along soundtrack to that spectacular midnight moment.

First Footin’ returns to the venue on New Year’s Day as we join other venues within the city centre with a packed programme of free live music and performances, featuring artists from across Scotland and beyond. Spectacular artists and special guest include: Cloth, Beck Sikasa, Bemz, Scottish Album of the Year award Newcomer winners No windows and the superb Hannah Fisher Ceilidh Band
