The Assembly Rooms is a Category A listed building located in Edinburgh's New Town, a UNESCO designated World Heritage Site.

This beautiful 18th Century A listed building is the most important building of its type surviving in the UK thanks to the quality of its architecture, function, history and the wide programme of diverse events held in it.

The Assembly Rooms were initially built in 1787 as a focal point for cultural, social and commercial life, a role which it continues to fulfil today.

Assembly Rooms Launch

Assembly Rooms will reopen to the public on Saturday 21st July with a ceilidh. Be the first to see this much-loved venue restored to its former glory at an evening with Ceilidh Stomp, marking the re-launch of Assembly Rooms in traditional Scottish style!
