Assembly Rooms

The Assembly Rooms is now closed for an 18 month restoration project. The refurbishment will fully upgrade the venue throughout, restoring the building to its original grandeur and blueprint, with retail spaces and a restaurant on the ground floor and with 4 opulent public rooms on the first floor.

This project seeks to reveal the historical relevance of the building and these spaces in particular and we will seek to return them to a state of beauty and quality for all to enjoy. Refurbishment project will celebrate heritage of the venue while integrating contemporary infrastructure throughout.

The entrance and ground floor of the Assembly Rooms will offer clients a spacious contemporary foyer with an added bonus of a "destination restaurant" on site. The first floor rooms can be accessed by one of the original grand staircases or a newly installed large public lift.
