OCCASIONAL DRINKS AND THEATRE LICENCES

An Occasional Licence must be sought by an existing licensee to allow them to cater outwith their own premises. Theatre Licences should be submitted at least 8 weeks prior to the first performance.

Forms may be obtained from the Licensing Department, 343 High Street, Edinburgh, EH1 1PW, Tel 0131 529 4208. This application requires a minimum of fifteen working days before the event. We advise that applications are lodged well before this deadline to deal with any problems that may arise.

The completed application form should be returned to the Department of Administration, and a copy of the application must be sent to The Chief Constable, Licensing Division, Police Headquarters, Fettes Avenue, Edinburgh, EH4 1RB.

A copy of the licence, full price list and a weights and measures list must be displayed at the bar during your
event. A copy of the licence must be forwarded to the F.O.H. Manager prior to the event.
