Where do I park?

Do you have a cloakroom/baggage store?
Yes but it depends on the event you are attending. Please call and check in advance with us or the event organiser if you need to leave bags while you are here with us and we will be able to advise if this is arranged.
What about disabled parking/disabled access?
All areas are fully accessible with the exception of the 2nd floor rooms and balcony.
If you require special assistance, we advise that you telephone before a visit so that we may give you full details of access and ensure that your visit will be safe, comfortable and enjoyable. Disabled parking is available in front of the building and on George Street.
Do you offer public tours of the Assembly Rooms?
Yes – We run public tours which provide information about the magnificent history and heritage of the building on a regular basis. The latest news and what’s on sections will give details of the tours coming up. Tours last approximately one hour. Please book a place on the tour in advance to avoid disappointment.
Do you have a program of events?
We do not have a regular program of events as we offer private and corporate events as well as public ticketed events. All of the details of what is coming up is listed in our What’s on section and updated regularly.
Can I take photos?
Photography is allowed in the Assembly Rooms (event dependant) but we ask that all images are for personal/private use only. If you wish to use photographs of the Assembly Rooms for commercial purposes, please call 0131 220 4348 and speak with Business Development or General Management.
Where is the nearest place to eat/drink?
Edinburgh is a vibrant city full of many many places to eat and drink of all varieties. Nearby both George Street and Rose Street are filled with a selection of cafe’s, restaurants and bars.
