We’ve been busy on the recruitment front of late hiring some fantastic new members to the Assembly Rooms Edinburgh team. We caught up with David Hughes (DH), Event Manager, Reece Ward (RW), Bars & Catering Duty Manager and Erin Burden (EB), Event Coordinator to find out about their roles and their interests.

Assembly Rooms Edinburgh is to host a reimagined Peers Ball on Saturday 25 November to celebrate its 230th anniversary, with indie band Django Django announced as the headlining act.

Visitors to the Assembly Rooms will have the chance to relive the jiving, jitterbugging fifties as the prestigious George Street venue joins other buildings in the city, and throughout Scotland, in opening its doors to the public on Saturday 23 September.


Earlier this month, we hosted an evening of full of glitz and glamour as Heritage Portfolio produced an excellent showcase event. Following the event we were keen to hear more about how a showcase comes together, so we spoke with the Heritage Portfolio team to get some insight.
